SUMMARY OF PRIMARY FUNCTION

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team, specializing in the tint dispensing and mixing industry. The ideal candidate will drive the development of cutting-edge mechanical and structural designs, from initial concept through to production.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components for tint dispensing and mixing equipment.

  • Apply deep expertise in mechanical and structural engineering to create innovative solutions.

  • Utilize knowledge of fluid dynamics, with a focus on non-Newtonian fluids, to enhance product performance

  • Design and integrate stepper motor systems for precise control of dispensing and mixing operations.

  • Design and develop components using molding, sheet metal, and machining techniques.

  • Develop and optimize pump systems for efficient and reliable tint dispensing and mixing.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet functional, quality, and manufacturability requirements.

  • Conduct simulations, testing, and validation of designs to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to incorporate new technologies and methodologies.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION FOR THE POSITION

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

  • 15+ years of experience and extensive experience in mechanical and structural engineering.

  • Proven experience in the design and development of systems involving fluid dynamics, preferably non-Newtonian fluids.

  • Significant experience in pump development and optimization.

  • Proficiency in using CAD software for designing and modeling components utilizing preferably SolidWorks. Experienced to use CAD for preparation of design documents (Drawing, BOM, Assembly Drawing etc.)

  • Experience with stepper motors and their integration into mechanical systems.

  • Experience with manufacturing processes such as molding, sheet metal fabrication, and machining.

  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Work in a shopfloor/manufacturing environment.
