IDEX Regional Sales Manager - LATAM in United States

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow the current sales territory to support business unit annual plans

  • Utilize and become and expert in the AFS sales funnel process, presenting details for assigned region at monthly funnel calls

  • Utilize 80:20 methodology to build account development plans for key “80s” accounts

  • Use solution selling to sell value and strategic selling to intimately understand customer needs

  • Track leads, sales activity, and other relevant using company CRM process

  • Partner with large end-users and OEM customers to identify new product and market solutions

  • Partner with distributors to sustain installed base and reach smaller end-users and OEMs

  • Assess distributors, developing account plans to address issues and leverage opportunities

  • Develop and implement strategies for displacement of competition at new and existing targeted accounts with the goal of increased market share and penetration

  • Promote Corken & Liquid Controls brands with distribution so that distribution devotes sufficient time and resources selling and marketing each brands’ products and services

  • Provide new product ideas, sales ideas, market and territory info., and competitive intelligence

  • Build market knowledge by attending trade shows, participating in professional groups, and through other marketing information

  • Build strong working relationships with internal teams, especially customer-facing roles

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science degree, preferably with Business or Engineering concentration, or MBA

  • 7+ Years of experience growing B2B sales with experience in Energy markets preferred

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and electronic) with fluency in English and Spanish

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with distributors, OEMS, end-users, suppliers, at all organizational levels

  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and an innovative mindset

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

  • Strong strategic planning and organizational skills

  • Self-starter with sales hunting mindset to secure new business and opportunities

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.

Travel:

  • 50% travel typically throughout Latin America

Total Rewards

The compensation range for this position is $72,400.00 - $108,600.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
