OVERVIEW:
The Operations Learning and Development Manager is responsible for spearheading our field L&D initiatives. In this pivotal role, the Operations L&D Manager will be tasked with developing and executing a comprehensive learning strategy that aligns with our organization’s goals. They will collaborate closely with operations leadership to identify training needs and deliver innovative learning solutions. Their work will directly influence our culture of continuous improvement, equipping our team with the skills needed for success. The successful candidate will have the ability to analyze program effectiveness and adapt strategies will ensure our efforts support our dynamic and growing team. This role is highly focused on training of Environmental Field Technicians, who work in outdoors/confined spaces, and Hydraulic Data Analysts who work in both in-office and remote settings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and develop in-person, on-the-job, and virtual training programs for employees in areas including but not limited to flow-monitoring data analytics, environmental field technician, safety, and operations leadership.
Collaborate with senior leadership and next-level managers to identify skill gaps and development needs across the business.
Recommend and implement innovative learning solutions that will resolve company-specific problems.
Deliver and facilitate training sessions for new hires, existing employees, and leadership teams while managing all planning and logistics.
Measure and analyze training effectiveness through assessments, evaluations, and feedback to inform future programs.
Establish a training approval process and track completion alongside training budgets.
Ensure all training programs comply with industry regulations, health and safety guidelines, and company policies.
Establish Consistent Training Programs across Regions and Teams
Become Certified in Field Training Levels and Safety Programs
Manage Training Matrixes
Develop Training content in LMS/Workday
Other duties as assigned- this may include partnering with other functions and departments
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or similar fields required.
5+ years of experience in Learning and Development required. Experience with a focus on operational training in the environmental service industry preferred.
QUALIFICATION S:
Excellent communication and presentation skills necessary to train and engage employees at all levels and departments.
Strong knowledge of effective learning principles and instructional design
Demonstrated experience in training program creation and implementation.
Demonstrated experience in analyzing data for the purpose of measuring effectiveness of training programs.
Experience training cross-functionally for departments including but not limited to operations, safety, and sales.
Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize workload, and respond to changing business demands.
Experience using Microsoft Office, including the ability to create reports, documents, presentations and spreadsheets in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
Ability to travel up to 50%

Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $83,500.00 - $125,300.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
