The Matcon Americas Business Line Leader is a Director level position for the Matcon business unit to develop new Systems opportunities in the Americas and to drive organic growth with our key customers. In addition to this the role will also hold full P&L responsibility for the Americas Business Line from orders through to PBIT.
Reporting into this position is a sales team with locations across the USA and with a permanent location in Delran, NJ. Candidate location is flexible (easy access to an airport for up to 60% travel as needed).
Business Strategy: Identify and develop an “Americas” business strategy to ensure that Matcon’s market presence is maximized.
Americas Business Line Team Management: Ensure the right people are in the right place in the business to ensure that the strategies identified by the business can be delivered upon
Business Development: Identify and develop opportunities to grow the Matcon Americas business across the territory and in line with the business strategy
Sales Funnel Management: Proactively manage and build a potential funnel of projects and opportunities for growth including developing and maintaining a data base of potential customers, opportunity funnel and orders and sales forecasting for sales by month, quarter, and year.
Customer Relationships : Establish strong relationships with Matcon’s customer base and help preserve those relationships before; through the project life cycle and beyond. Ensure that the Americas team maintains regular contact with customers to ensure future business and marketing possibilities.
Operations: Develop a strategy to ensure that projects are processed through the business in line with customer expectations and to maximize Matcon’s revenue and margin.
