Description:

OBJECTIVE:

Plan, manage and co-ordinate the sales and marketing activities of the Business Unit in assigned territories in SE Asia.

Direct Sales strategy to ensure product is aimed at the “right” market thus maximising both sales potential and actual sales achieved.

Responsible for planning, directing and controlling the customer/channel sales strategy to achieve annual growth plans.

Determines and is responsible for the control and direction of distribution to Channel partners and customers in the assigned territories across SE Asia.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Achieve revenue and profit within specified budget guidelines

Create, implement, and monitor customer plans to deliver growth

Deliver sales and market share objectives across categories and within customer/channel

Monitor and analyse sales and trade spend for all customers/channels to ensure gaps are identified and issues are rectified

Appraise the results across customers/channels of all sales programs

Create and deliver presentations of new lines and innovations.

Plans, controls and directs commercial activities to obtain maximum sales volume.

Develops maximum potential volume from all markets for the BUs product portfolio

Ensures the maintenance of effective sales and training programs

Prepares sales targets and budgets and accounts for variances in results with appropriate countermeasures

Controls, directs and motivates our Channel partners throughout the region

Informs Management of market trends, competitor activities and recommends changes as appropriate

Conducts performance assessments of channel partners and takes corrective action as required

Participates in sales forecasts and feasibility studies for new products/services

Ensure that company policy for safety and health in the workplace is maintained and that safe practices are employed.

Ensure that adequate standards of housekeeping are maintained.

Ensure that effective means are in place to ensure that feedback from Sales Agents, Distributors and Service Agents is adequate to promote continued product development.

Ensure that policies laid down by the parent company are followed.

Carry out Quality systems requirements of the company's Quality Manual and Procedure Manual.

Carry out functions as from time to time required by the General Manager.

Qualifications:

Preferred tertiary qualifications in marketing and sales or related discipline together with a proven record of:

At least 5 years of Sales Managerial experience with customers and Channel PartnersSouth East Asia

experience required

Must be fluent in the English language

Skills in communication, leadership and motivation

Requires business experience and knowledge of paint capital equipment (preferred) with an ability

to innovate and communicate ideas effectively

Maintains a persuasive and credible presentation style

Strong analytical skills

Relationship building skills across wide cultural field
