IDEX Strategic Marketing Intelligence Manager in Vancouver, Washington

Plans, directs, and executes Micropump’s marketing strategies, policies, and programs, such as determining the demand for products offered by Micropump and its competitors, and researches and identifies potential customers and markets for sales growth. Collects and analyzes market data with the goal of improving customer engagement. Partners with target market leads and sales team to deliver marketing campaigns and creates targeted messaging for new market development. The person in this role is responsible for the following:

  • Researching and evaluating the financial aspects of customers and new markets; developing customers and markets, return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.

  • Identifying, developing, and executing marketing strategy based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.

  • Formulating, directing, or coordinating marketing activities or policies to promote products.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Sales and Marketing - Knowledge of concepts and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, and sales techniques.

  • English Language and Reading Comprehension- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work-related documents.

  • Administration and Management - Knowledge of business and management concepts involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.

  • Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

  • Communications and Media - Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods.

  • Active Learning and Listening - Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making and giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

  • Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

  • Social Perceptiveness - Being aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do.

  • Oral and Written Comprehension and Expression - The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences; the ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand; the ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.   • Deductive Reasoning - The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.

  • Regular and reliable attendance .

TECHNOLOGY

  • Knowledge and practical application of business intelligence and data analysis software - website maintenance, Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Adwords & Analytics preferred

  • Customer relationship management CRM software – Microsoft Dynamics 365

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five years of experience in a Marketing role; MBA preferred.

COMPENSATION RANGE

  • The estimated annual compensation for this position is $84,500.00 to $115,000.00.

  • This position is eligible to participate in Micropump's local annual bonus plan. The target bonus for this position will be 5% to 12% of your base compensation and based on business performance.

  • This position is also eligible for our comprehensive U.S. benefit offerings, which include Health benefits, 401(k) retirement savings program with company match, etc., and eligible for two weeks of vacation, pro-rated.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have the Authorization to work in the United States and be able to have lawful access to controlled technology as required for this position.
