IDEX Accounting Manager in St. Paul, Minnesota

Job Responsibilities :

The position holder will provide excellent and sustainable finance functional excellence to the business including standard functions like Accounting, Budgeting, Forecasts, treasury & tax, Optimize business processes in combination with the usage of the Sage and Great Plains ERP system. This position will oversee two businesses. Excellent business partnering with the General Manager and leadership team is necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the local finance team in the areas of goal setting, priority setting, performance evaluation and day to day operations

  • Audit liaison for all audits. Participates in and ensures SOX Section 404 compliance, including Segregation of Duties and IT control compliance

  • Preparation and/or approval of monthly journal entries

  • Prepare and/or approval of monthly account reconciliations

  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, annual sales and use tax filings

  • Prepare, analyze and submit monthly financial data to IDEX via OneStream

  • Analyze operating results to determine and recommend profit and/or cash flow improvement opportunities. Consolidate financial information for review with the MyTana and PRT leadership

  • Participate as a key business partner to the MyTana and PRT SLT. Contribute to business strategy development and operational execution of business plans

  • Work alongside the Corporate Finance organization (i.e., treasury, tax, and audit) in improving financial processes, implementing policy changes, and executing strategies and initiatives

  • Help drive 80/20 operational strategy to reduce complexity and increase profitability through commercial and operational partnership

  • Responsible for annual operating plan process, monthly forecasting / reporting, and supports strategic planning

  • Be the primary contact for corporate finance functions

  • Year-end reporting and tax package

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with 5+ years of experience

  • Manufacturing experience a must

  • Prior management experience preferred

  • Experienced in ERP systems – Sage and Great Plains preferred.

  • Experience with OneStream or other financial reporting system preferred

  • Consistently operates at a high level of integrity and is never willing to compromise with regards to ethical standards

  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, Internal Controls and SOX requirements

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Occasional travel may be needed

Total Rewards

The compensation range for this position is $86,000.00 - $129,000.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
