SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITES : Responsible for all aspects of shift operations including building to plan, preventative maintenance and personnel management. Friday through Sunday 6am - 6pm.
REPORTING TO : Site Lead
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise Machinist and Deburr employees ensuring work is executed according to the schedule with respect to all safety, quality, production, waste, housekeeping, and cost standards.
Troubleshoot in plant in order to discover potential hazards or breakdowns
Supervise all aspects of a leading a team including but not limited to performance management, behavior management, and leave management
Ensure applicable product quality, product safety, and workplace environmental, health and safety (EH&S) requirements are met including performing near miss and accident investigations and properly report to HR for compliance.
Maintain daily / weekly /monthly production reports
All other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS
Possess a minimum of HS Diploma or equivalent
Possess a minimum of 5 years experience in Machine Operation in programmable milling and manual turning experience
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and possess the ability to lift up to 50 ( Able to lift 50 pounds on a continuous basis
Must be available to work Overtime as needed including weekends
Drive key metrics into the organization and actively participate in accountability meetings
Planning direct and lead-team members toward common goals and objectives
Communicate and convey information broadly and in such a manner that it advances team and business goals, strengthens relationships, and transfers business knowledge
Consistently lead corrective action requests - takes initiative outside direct area of responsibility to drive quality improvements in the organization
