IDEX Digital Marketing Strategist in Shelby, North Carolina

The Digital Marketing Strategist leads the application of the overall IDEX Fire & Safety NA marketing strategy to specific digital marketing strategies as a member of the Shared Services team dedicated to supporting Hale Products, Hurst, and Akron Brass based on targeted growth initiatives. This role provides digital marketing expertise (both technical and creative) to build and maintain digital campaigns, improve and ensure digital marketing spending efficiencies, and conversion optimization throughout the marketing funnel. In addition to leading this specific strategy, the digital marketing strategist will lead the implementation, analysis, and optimization of paid marketing campaigns aimed at driving brand awareness, demand generation, and e-commerce performance. This role will be instrumental in the tactical execution of marketing efforts across paid social, paid search, video, and display channels, ensuring the achievement of key business objectives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategy and Planning:

  • In cooperation with other key IDEX Fire & Safety stakeholders, establishes strategic digital marketing plans to achieve marketing objectives.

  • Responsible for the preparation and execution of IDEX Fire & Safety NA digital marketing initiatives and budget.

  • Responsible for the planning for digital marketing resource allocations directly for external resources and in collaboration with the Director of Marketing for internal resources.

  • Management and Oversight:

  • Collaborates with a cross functional team to plan and execute IDEX Fire & Safety NA’s digital marketing campaign creation, specifically creative assets.

  • Prepares and communicates digital marketing KPI’s that measures progress in key areas.

  • Develop and oversee performance marketing strategies across multiple paid media channels, including Google, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Bing, and other platforms.

  • Manage the tactical execution of paid campaigns on social, search, video, and display channels.

  • Allocate budgets effectively across channels to align with the company's short-term and long-term goals.

  • Collaborate with other marketing team members and finance team members (as needed) in reviewing, processing, and evaluating digital marketing invoices and overall spend.

  • Build, execute, and analyze audience and creative A/B testing to generate actionable insights and improve ongoing campaign performance.

  • Coordinate reporting automation, website tracking, and conversion tracking to support campaign performance assessment.

  • Design and implement cohesive user journeys from initial ad click through to landing page visits, form submissions, and automated email sequences.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to optimize campaign effectiveness.

  • Additional Responsibilities

  • Supports other marketing team members as needed.

  • Investigates new digital marketing technologies and their fit within marketing objectives.

  • Supervision and management of external marketing resources.

  • All other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND REQUIRED ABILITIES

  • Proven experience with paid advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and Bing Ads.

  • Proficiency in Web Analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Looker.

  • A strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.

  • A data-driven, results-oriented mindset with the ability to leverage analytics for decision-making.

  • Solid experience with A/B testing and campaign optimization.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, or a similar role.

  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
