IDEX Pump Technologies (IRL) Ltd is looking for an experienced, self-motivated person to join its Shannon manufacturing team in the role of Shipping Co-Ordinator.
Manage freight costs for imports and exports across all modes of transport on Domestic, European and International shipments
Monitor exports through carrier tracking systems and email communications for any possible delays. Communicate and actual/potential delay to the relevant customers
Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all outgoing shipments on the JD Edwards system
Management of documentation preparation, tariff code checks, license and certification requirements for each destination
Prepare documentation for outgoing shipments throughout Europe, Asia and the US i.e. Packing Slips, Invoices, Pro-Forma Invoices, Consignment Dockets, ATR Certificates, EUR 1 forms
File and maintain shipping records
Accurately record shipment data including weights, dimensions, special instructions
Assure compliance with customer instruction regarding packaging and transportation of goods and materials
Collaborate with Warehouse and Customer Service departments to ensure timely and accurate adherence to customer dispatch date
Responsible for acquiring and filing SAD Proof of Export document for non-EU shipments per customs and compliance procedure
Perform annual audit of same and ensure records of same are available for review by SLT and Corporate Compliance
Develop and maintain an understanding of pump classification for Export Control, participating around dual-use products
Develop and maintain a database of pump/part classification codes for Export Control
Participate in relevant Import/Export Training and attend Global Team discussions.
Responsible for booking transport of goods with relevant carriers (both outbound and inbound)
Responsible for accurate updating and maintenance of ECCN and HTS codes for compliance purposes
Provide cover for department member
EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience of Air, Ocean and Road freight processes and documentation requirements/procedures
Self-motivated, with an ability to work as part of a team
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiencies in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
JD Edwards experience an advantage
Strong problem-solving skills
