Description:
Under
general supervision and observing proper safety methods, performs a variety of
duties related to the painting, packing and shipment of all products:
Paint - duties associated with the
application of paint on a variety of pumps, tanks, parts, and assemblies.
Requires the mixing and blending of paints for proper color-and consistency,
masking parts and product, and the application of a variety of paint products.
Application is primarily by spray gun and may include operating drying
equipment. Must maintain and clean equipment and work area.
Pack - duties associated with packaging
materials for shipment and loading packages into/onto trucks. Duties include
but are not limited to the selection proper cartons, stenciling, foaming,
weighing, tagging and processing paperwork accurately.
Carpentry- duties associated with construction
of crates/skids, and maintenance of adequate packaging materials. Performs
other related carpentry duties.
Performs other such related duties as may be assigned.
The employee must be able to demonstrate the ability to perform the functions
of multiple (50% or more) product lines or complete processes within the job
classification in order to be fully qualified
Qualifications:
Education
High School Diploma / GED Experience and Skills
Minimum 1 year Industrial Experience.
Must be able to read complex specifications.
Must be able to demonstrate general decision making and display some independent thinking in blending, mixing and applying of paint.
Must be able to perform basic math functions.
Must be able to stay focused on task at hand and may require one or more activities at same time.
Must be able to maintain accurate records.

This position requires daily communicating with internal employees.
Must be able to see, read, hear, walk, sit, stoop, bend, climb, and use/manipulate assembly equipment constantly.

Must be able to stand for over 8 hours
Must wear PPE as required (safety shoes & safety glasses)
