Pulsafeeder EPO, Inc. provides engineered pumping solutions for applications in water, and oil and gas markets. The company serves chemical processing, oil and gas, petrochemical, wastewater treatment, and municipal and power water treatment applications.
The Application Programmer is a key position for the business unit responsible for ownership and programming our front-end configure to order application that provides an easy user experience and delivers seamless integration to the business ERP software. The Application Programmer customizes the user interface, rule sets, constraints, options lists, matrices, and reports of a proprietary Configure Price Quote software package. The application is responsible for configuring engineered pumps and creating quote packages for our channel partners. The main concentration of this position is on design, development, implementation and maintenance of the application.
Design and development of quality systems that integrate with our existing software, participation in application design discussions, and creation of technical design documentation that complies with our standards.
Manage the interfaces between other critical business processes (JD Edwards, Pulsa.Net, Docuware, etc.)
Develop Ad Hoc reports using SQL.
Assist in testing and troubleshooting error messages and end user support
Contribute to the team with ideas and suggestions for improvements and enhancements towards improving processes.
Manages user account setup
Assist with other special projects or related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (CS), Management Information System (MIS), or Information Technology (IT) preferred
Experienced with: C#, SQL and PL/SQ, XpertDocs, Database-driven web applications, MS Excel
5 years’ experience; in a manufacturing environment a plus
Experience with configuration rules development helpful
Excellent organizational skills and project and time management skills
Must be comfortable working independently
