Primary Function:

Responsible for the installation, configuration, recommendation, and repair of network infrastructure and desktop/laptop workstations in an internal and external user environment. Responsible for network user, file, application, and overall security. Maintain Help Desk operations to ensure service levels are met or exceeded. Train internal customers for the most efficient use of the company hardware and software. Provide high level of technical trouble shooting and problem solving to include all areas of the operational systems and network.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage, configure, maintain, and upgrade local site network infrastructure, servers and all related hardware in a virtual environment

• Manage Network Security, accounts, ownership of tracking of network directory’s and software application security

• Manage and coordinate cross functional teams for non-ERP software specification, evaluation and design and implementation.

• Participate in the development of local IT budgets, forward looking network infrastructure plans and network policies and procedures

• Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses

• Maintain and support 3rd party application and software.

• Support day to day operations as it relates to PC\Laptop setups and help desk support to ensure service levels are met or exceeded

• Participate in or manage other IT related projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Four-year college degree in computer information systems or at least 5 years experience with demonstrated technical ability to diagnose problems, maintains, repair, install and configure servers in a virtual environment.

• Demonstrates knowledge of PCs, LAN\WAN, printers, telecommunications, RF, Wireless and related interconnectivity. PC applications, and database management.

• Demonstrates technical ability to install and configure Windows software.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently or with outside vendors to facilitate the operation of multiple online computer systems located locally or remotely.
