Count inventory items based on ABC stratification, using the cycle count system within the J.D. Edwards manufacturing system
Perform cycle counts for Corken and Liquid Controls brands
Reconcile inventory discrepancies and document root causes
Keep operations, supply chain, accounting, purchasing, and planning informed of any adjustments to inventory levels that may affect the production process
Work with exception reports to manage transaction discrepancies
Conduct special audits as requested
Perform additional inventory transactions, as requested (EOZ, inventory adjustments, return-to-stock tags).
Assign inventory locations when needed, including updating old/existing locations
Assist with semi-annual physical inventory, including planning and preparation for the inventory
Perform other duties as assigned
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Specific knowledge, skills and/or experience:
Problem solving abilities
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficient with Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and Outlook
JDE working knowledge, based on training provided
Must have the ability to effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, and all levels of corporate and company personnel
Must be able to work well and cooperate with all departments across the organization
Exposure to manufacturing environment
Noise level may vary from moderate to noisy/loud in the plant area
Proper use of safety equipment such as steel-toed shoes, goggles, safety glasses, gloves, apron and face shield must be observed
