IDEX Inventory Specialist in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Essential functions:

  • Count inventory items based on ABC stratification, using the cycle count system within the J.D. Edwards manufacturing system

  • Perform cycle counts for Corken and Liquid Controls brands

  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies and document root causes

  • Keep operations, supply chain, accounting, purchasing, and planning informed of any adjustments to inventory levels that may affect the production process

  • Work with exception reports to manage transaction discrepancies

  • Conduct special audits as requested

  • Perform additional inventory transactions, as requested (EOZ, inventory adjustments, return-to-stock tags).

  • Assign inventory locations when needed, including updating old/existing locations

  • Assist with semi-annual physical inventory, including planning and preparation for the inventory

  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Specific knowledge, skills and/or experience:

  • Problem solving abilities

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • JDE working knowledge, based on training provided

  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, and all levels of corporate and company personnel

  • Must be able to work well and cooperate with all departments across the organization

Work environment:

  • Exposure to manufacturing environment

  • Noise level may vary from moderate to noisy/loud in the plant area

  • Proper use of safety equipment such as steel-toed shoes, goggles, safety glasses, gloves, apron and face shield must be observed
