Guided by our values of Trust, Team, and Excellence, the Advanced Flow Solutions Human Resources Director, based in Oklahoma City, OK will serve as a value-add business partner and internal HR consultant as a member of the Senior Leadership Team for this $140M global business. This position will include strategic design and implementation of HR initiatives including Organizational Design, Talent Acquisition and Leadership Development, employee engagement, change management and building an HR team capable of leading core HR Process associated with employee and supervisory training, policy development and deployment and general Employee Relations. The ability to lead people, culture and engagement are required for success.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with President and Senior Leaders to assess and determine talent requirements needed to align with business strategy to prepare for growth initiatives

  • Support integration of operations team through talent assessment and development, leadership training and consistent application of the IDEX Operating Model matching business and people strategies.

  • Strong presence and business acumen capable of challenging leaders to think differently about the current state of business and the talent needed to meet the expectations of our customers and stakeholders

  • Determine health of the business and necessary actions through quickly building credibility within all levels of the business through attending daily operations meeting, actively participating in strategy meetings and intrinsic desire to be seen and heard from customer visits through to the production floor

  • Critical thinker capable of managing complex employee relations issues related to a predominantly new workforce and support their assimilation into the IDEX culture

  • Provide coaching and business partnership to the President to ensure an engaged workforce guided by the IDEX Difference

  • As a master coach, support leader’s capabilities to develop their employees, effectively communicate the vision and actively include employees throughout the business in daily work and strategic initiatives

  • Work closely with employee base both in OKC and remote to understand the needs of the individual groups to ensure a “one team” mindset across groups. Strong influence and ability to look for common themes and support leaders in turning them into actionable items that fold into regular business cadence and tools

  • Key leadership in transition two legacy cultures to one larger culture focused on continuous improvement and growth

  • Create an inclusive onboarding process that allows for effective and timely assimilation into the culture and business

  • Create Roadmap to drive Diversity, Equity and Inclusion into the culture of Advanced Flow Solutions in partnership with IDEX programs

  • Manage core HR processes to ensure toolset allows employees to live our IDEX Values and support the IDEX Difference mindset

  • Lead performance management and goal setting cycles with a focus on scaling to a singular, larger and global business

  • Assess and lead opportunities for training including DEI, Situational Leadership, Manager effectiveness, etc.

  • Develop HR Team capable of HR Process Ownership

  • Provide advice and input on general employee issues; Facilitate feedback to key stakeholders; working closely with appropriate parties to ensure timely production of appropriate documentation and sign off.

  • Ensure compliance across company policies and procedures.

  • Coordinate annual employee events and/or lead special projects.

  • Manage third party vendor relationships for employee programs.

  • Function as a subject matter expert for HR systems.

  • Support leave management processes including FMLA, Parental Leave and Disability.

  • Lead compensation planning activities for assigned customers.

  • Manage other duties or projects as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive Human Resources business partnership experience in a manufacturing environment required

  • Successful track record of organizational design and talent development in both fix and growth businesses

  • Proven capability in handling complex HR initiatives and issues to drive the business forward and ensure decisions are made in line with the IDEX Values and IDEX Differences

  • History of building strong HR teams able to support manager and their direct reports in order to drive initiatives up and down the organization quickly

  • Experience with Workday HRIS systems preferred

Candidate must have a naturally curious mindset, interested in learning the business and industry and capable of building credibility into the business quickly and across all functions. This position requires an extremely perceptive person (organizational and situational awareness), who can relate to individuals at all levels.
