Provide on-site coordination and support for troubleshooting, maintenance, equipment installation, connections and interfaces to corporate and other entities. This includes PC and desktop administration, LAN management, telephone, fax, printers and other peripherals, as well as, application support for Engineering and Customer Service. Position also interfaces with corporate IT and is expected to implement initiatives and programs per IDEX GIS guidelines and policies.
All help desk activities related to ticket management using Zendesk.
PC acquisition, configuration and ongoing desktop installation and peripheral device support (fax, printer, scanner, etc.).
LAN support including switches, cabling and wired/wireless network management.
ADS administration including move, add, change and general user support; SCCM/patch management.
Telecommunications support including Cisco UCaaS PBX system and administration and support for cell phones.
Applications support including, but not limited to:
Microsoft Office 365.
Web clients/FTP sites.
Other duties as assigned to maintain efficient operations and support compliance.
Degree studies in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Systems or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in an IT technical support role in a Microsoft ADS environment.
Excellent analytical skills, detail oriented, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate should be driven by the principles of continuous improvement.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
Background supporting business applications including Engineering, document management, shop floor automation, and field service.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
Experience supporting telephone systems.
Experience with LAN equipment, Cisco preferred.
Experience with virtualization and storage technology.
Solid grasp of security principles and methodologies.
Good team player; experience in distributed enterprise environment preferred.
