Job Description

This team member, as a key individual contributor on the Global HRIS Team, will report to the HRIS Director and be responsible for supporting multiple projects and programs globally for Human Resources and cross-functional groups, primarily working with Workday HCM and other HR technology solutions throughout the organization. In the near term, this role will focus on optimizing and executing our talent, diversity, and compliance reporting activities that are used by senior leaders and our Board. Over the next few years, you will play a critical role in the redesign of our job architecture in Workday, helping us evolve our catalog, processes, and reporting capabilities as a result.
Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To
Support, maintain, and evolve Workday HCM globally, as we evolve our data structures, processes, and reporting to meet the future needs of the organization.
Contribute to projects on behalf of HRIS, including the global overhaul of our global job architecture, as the HRIS liaison and subject matter expert.
As a Workday SME, Partner with executives, stakeholders, and leaders to evolve our talent and DEI programs from a systems and reporting perspective
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of HR processes and data in HR systems globally, including the design and implementation of data reviews and audits
Process and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reports/metrics to key stakeholders (including our executive leadership team)
Design, develop, and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to identify trends which improve management decision making
File key compliance reports that intersect with talent/DEI, including, but not limited to, EEO, VETS, and state mandated reports
Run reports as requested by the DEI team to support the certification of IDEX with partner organizations and indices
Support the launch and administration of engagement surveys, including delivery of data to vendors and consultation on HRIS related topics
Train and consult HR on standard operating procedures and system functionality
Support the implementation of Workday in acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations, and other business activities
Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate and align business requirements with HR system including cross-functional teams in IT, finance, payroll, internal audit, talent acquisition, compensation, and benefits
Act as a consultant to stakeholders in the development of project plans by assisting in development of requirements documentation, feasibility, scope, and resource requirements
Support multiple project deliverables including detailed scope and requirements, project timelines, issue logs, communication plans, test strategies, job aides, process/configuration documentation, and lessons learned
Facilitate clear and concise status updates for key project stakeholders including direct communications with project sponsors and steering committees
Escalate critical risks, issues, changes, problems or delays to the project manager and HRIS leadership as needed
Troubleshoot and resolve field HR support requests related to your functional domains
Support peers with projects and provide them with backup support for field requests and issue resolution
Characteristics of a Successful Candidate
Experienced in developing complex reports, analyze and interpret data, identify key trends, and make recommendations
Demonstrated learning agility, including the ability to learn and apply new technical skills
Familiarity and experience with HR systems and processes
Ability to work effectively with HR leadership and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives, prioritization, and successful project delivery
Utilizing proven interpersonal and change management skills to overcome resistance to new processes and technologies
Strong business acumen to recommend optimal solutions to complex business problems by critically evaluating and distinguishing user requests from the underlying business needs
Self-starter with proven ability to produce positive results under tight deadlines with limited resources
Preferred Educational Background
- Bachelors in Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field
Preferred Experiential Background
4+ years of HR systems experience with exposure to Talent, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Absence Management, and/or Time Tracking
Familiar with internal controls and data privacy regulations
Strong problem solving, troubleshooting skills
High attention to detail
Good understanding of human resources functions
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced organization
Microsoft Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables and charts
Good communication and teamwork skills
