Warehouse Technician - 1st Shift

KZValve, LLC – Greenwood, NE

Summary:

The Warehouse Technician moves product safely in, out and around the facility as required as well as using defined computer programs to record the transactions. The Warehouse Technician assists with updating standard work and recorded procedures that have been developed in these areas while cleaning and maintaining the plant and assisting planners and quality with required training.

Level 1 - Conventional Warehouse Technician

• Safely move product.

• Complete internal forklift & manlift certified training.

• Ability to work with all related computer programs: Microsoft office & department software.

• Use of hand tools.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

• Organization and maintaining order in the warehouse.

• Monitoring inventory levels as required for parts not part of the BOM.

• Boxes, tape, general packing supplies.

• Consumable goods not part of the BOM.

• Parts that are being consumed at a higher-than-normal rate with few parts on the shelf.

• And all other warehouse functions.

Level 2 - Balanced Warehouse Technician

• All the above with the addition of all other shipping functions.

• Quality control including inspecting outgoing product.

• Monitoring on-time shipments.

• Informing management (and others) if a product does not get shipped on time.

Level 3 - Advanced Warehouse Technician

• All the above with the addition of all other receiving functions.

• Receiving incoming product and visual inspection.

• Scheduling trucking for outgoing shipments.

Requirements:

• Minimum of high school education.

• General understanding and experience in manufacturing or warehouse knowledge

Preferred:

• Ability to manage a wide variety of activities at the same time.

• Ability to plan, analyze and overcome challenges.

• Excellent organization and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with team members and stakeholders.

• Solid understanding of all people related processes and procedures.

• Work independently with minimal supervision.

Position Details:

• Full-Time, non-exempt position

• First shift hours 6:00am - 2:30pm or 6:30am - 3:00pm Monday through Friday

• Position reports to the Continuous Improvement – Project Manager
