WHO is KZValve?

We specialize in low voltage actuated valves and are strategically located between Lincoln & Omaha near Ashland-Greenwood, a half mile North of exit 420, where we design and assemble our products. Summary/Objective

The area lead will assist assembly personnel with day-to-day issues as they arise, while actively working in the area, as well as work with the production floor lead and production management to continuously improve processes, flow and quality in the area.

Essential Job Functions

• Following instructions - verbal and written

• Basic computer operations

• Self-monitor quality control

• Training other production team members

• Identify ISO concerns and correct

• Ability to read prints

• Ability to use hand tools

• Ability to lift 50 pounds

Lead Functions

• Approve layer checks for produced parts in the area

• 2nd part sign offs for produced parts

• First contact for general questions in the production area

• Basic trouble shooting of testers, final stations, valves, and actuators

• Works with the production floor lead to provide improvements and problem solving in the area

• Work with area team members on startup processes and workload

• Validate fixtures

• Run known good and bad in testers

• Provide feedback and insight on manning and scheduling needs

• Fulfill other requests, issues, as needed, to keep the area up and running as efficiently as possible

Education/Experience

• Minimum of high school education

• General understanding and experience in manufacturing
