Mission of the position : This person is responsible for Design, Analysis, Startup, and Support of large industrial filtration systems around the world.

Key Responsibilities:
Major Challenges:
Execute various projects assigned and be responsible to meet project deadlines
Manage subvendors to ensure major equipment is designed according to technical specifications and delivered in accordance with overall project schedule
Provide field support to install, start-up and/or train at customer plant site
Perform onsite inspections of major equipment such as pumps, instrumentation, valving, control panels etc
Managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Managing third party vendors and engineering firms to meet schedule commitments
Communicating directly with Customers to uncover technical needs and demonstrate the technical value of Mott’s solutions
Expected Performance Outcomes:
Required Experience:
Complete engineering deliverables and drawings on time, and within 5% of budgeted hours per overall project schedule
Manage sub-vendors to required ship date and within 5% of projected costs
Perform onsite inspections and address deviations to result in shipment of equipment on time per overall project schedule
BS Degree in I&C, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial or similar Engineering field or equivalent industry experience
Experience with Process Equipment controls, wiring diagrams, valves and instrument selection and sizing, PLC programming
Experience managing or coordinating the activities of third party fabrication and engineering firms
Experience interfacing with Manufacturing, Quality, or Operations departments
Technical Knowledge/Skills:
Personal Attributes:
Understanding of technical aspects of chemical processing and related mechanical or I&C equipment
Proven teamwork skills across multiple disciplines
Superior verbal & written communication skills
10+ years working as I&C or Project engineer with deep knowledge and ability to develop P&IDs, spec sheets, valve and intrument sizing and specifications, wiring diagrams, electrical layouts, conduit sizing, etc
Ability to program AB or other PLCs preferred
