SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
The Industrial Maintenance Technician II is a multi-craft position that performs troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, condition monitoring and repairs on industrial equipment. This position will execute projects that include planning, kitting and execution of work.
REPORTING TO : Maintenance Manager
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adhere to all EHS policies and procedures.
Ability to work in a multi-craft (mechanical, electrical, controls) environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, controls and mechanical equipment issues.
Technical support of maintenance activities on production and building equipment.
Aids in the installation and commissioning of equipment upgrades and new installations.
Documents their activities in CMMS system as well as through written and verbal communication.
Develop work scopes, order parts and schedule their work as necessary.
Write maintenance troubleshooting/repair procedures and PMs.
Works as part of the BAND-IT IDEX team by interfacing with production, engineering, purchasing and safety resources to execute the business plan.
Supports continuous improvement through the proposal and execution of solutions.
Coordinate outside resources such as service technicians, contractors and suppliers as necessary to facilitate the successful completion of projects.
Able to work overtime and weekends as necessary.

High School Diploma or GED and 3 years of industrial maintenance experience OR 2 year electrical or mechanical maintenance degree and 1 year of industrial maintenance experience
Adherence to all EHS rules.
Skilled multi-craft technician capable of repairing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic & hydraulic equipment and components.
Demonstrated troubleshooting abilities using their electrical, mechanical and controls knowledge and skills.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, technical instructions, codes, standards and specifications.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated problem solving abilities.
Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
Knowledge of good manufacturing practices.
Listed below are the preferred requirements for this position. A candidate may meet one or more of these requirements.
AAS Degree in a technical discipline plus 3 yrs. experience in electro-mechanical maintenance background in a manufacturing environment OR High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of electro-mechanical maintenance experience
1 year of experience working with HMIs, PLCs and automation software. Rockwell Automation hardware and software preferred.
2 years of experience working with precision mechanical instruments, including but not limited to: micrometers, dial indicators and precision alignment equipment.
1 year of experience working with predictive maintenance equipment.
1 year of experience working directly with a CMMS
1 year of experience writing technical documentation
Pay rate: $22-32/hour
Bonus: This position may be eligible for company discretionary bonus
