SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
The Human Resources Generalist administrates the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new staff, payroll, benefits, time and attendance, HRIS data entry and policies and procedures enforcement.
REPORTING TO : HR Manager
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
Process full cycle recruitment to include position requisition intake, job postings, sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, hiring and onboarding etc.
Drive and manage temp agency relationships and resources.
Facilitate the onboarding process, including pre hire process, paperwork, and orientation.
Employee Relations
Administer internal communications for the HR department, including company communication boards.
Plan and execute in partnership with HR Manager, employee events and lunches.
Manage employee volunteer program and other engagement activities.
Process internal and external HR related queries and requests.
Assist HR Manager in employee investigations and discipline when necessary.
HRIS
Responsible for the accurate and timely input, maintenance, filing, and reporting of all employee data.
Data Management, maintain accurate and compliant employee and department records.
Reporting, generate various reports for internal consumption, communication to parent company and for various regulatory purposes.
Compensation and Benefits
Execute payroll administration through process of timecard approvals, pre payroll reports, payroll registers, post payroll reports, company reimbursement programs, company recognition programs, audits, and other miscellaneous items.
Leave of Absence administration (The Hartford, state leave, federal leave, short term disability)
Employee open enrollment and other benefits administration.
Assist EHS department with worker’s compensation needs.

Perform other general administrative support for the HR Department.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform this job successfully.
Familiarity and experience with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
Knowledge of HR Information Systems (HRIS) and other relevant software.
Demonstrated experience in recruitment processes.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks at once with strong attention to detail.
Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle various HR tasks
Demonstrated experience in efficiently managing time and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
1-3 years of experience working in Human Resources, required, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
