BAND-IT – IDEX, Inc. is a highly-regarded manufacturer of stainless-steel band clamping systems to a premier and diverse base of customers and markets worldwide. We are currently driving and experiencing high growth in our OEM engineered applications group. BAND-IT is a market leader with innovative product designs and a “solutions provider” approach.

Primary Function:

The ERP Developer/Analyst is focused on supporting and enhancing BAND-IT’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) 9.2 implementation by working directly with Business resources to elicit and document requirements, by working with IT resources to translate Business requirements into solution designs, then by developing, configuring, testing, and implementing those solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Business process design, working closely with business managers and end users to understand, develop and improve their processes and procedures.

  • Elicit and document end user requirements then translate into functional and technical designs.

  • Provide high-level analysis and estimates for new project requests.

  • Configure, enhance, and support E1 in the Finance, Accounting, Manufacturing/Shop Floor, Sales Order Management, Procurement, and Inventory Management modules within a manufacturing environment.

  • Develops applications for E1 using the JDE E1 development 9.2 toolset. Including Interactive Versions, Batch Versions, BI Publisher, Workflow, Media Objects, UX One, UDO, Orchestrator, Watchlist, Oneview, and Composite Pages.

  • Unit and Integration test application customizations, fixes, and interfaces.

  • Lead User Acceptance Testing including working with business to document test plans, facilitate user testing, and ensure capture of test results.

  • Maintain user facing documentation.

Requirements:

  • 5 or more years programming using a variety of tools to include JD Edwards Development (JDE) Tools 9.2 (Reports Design, Forms Design, etc.), Oracle BI Publisher, Power BI, Azure, Oracle SQL Developer.

  • Ability to create new 'C' and NER Business Functions and to debug all types of business functions.

  • Confident and comfortable creating UDOs (E1 Pages, OneView, Watchlists, etc.)

  • Enjoys working as part of a project team with business users as much as working independently on technical tasks.

  • Ability to work with all levels of internal and external customers.

  • Good communication and documentation skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent on the job experience.

  • Knowledge of RFSmart Scanning solution and integration a plus.

Total Rewards

The compensation range for this position is $94,600.00 - $141,800.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
