SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
The Asset Reliability Supervisor II directs and coordinates activities of the Maintenance and Tool & Die teams by performing the following duties either personally or through subordinates. This role places emphasis on inter-departmental collaboration through strong leadership as well as driving accountability for their teams’ actions. Employee engagement is a key driver for this role.
REPORTING TO : Value Stream Manager - Support Services
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain a safe working environment for all employees by leveraging human performance principles and ensuring compliance with all internal and regulatory EHS standards. Drive safety culture through proactive measures such as JHA’s (Job Hazard Analysis) and safety audits.
Exhibit and promote the IDEX core values – Team, Trust, Excellence, leveraging these to drive employee engagement and retention.
Directly supervises the Maintenance, Tool & Die, Machine Shop teams as well as all contractors with the goal of meeting/exceeding requirements for EHS and all reliability metrics.
Drives asset reliability mentality with all teams, implementing best practices for its various aspects.
Develop high-performing teams by identifying required skills and developing and managing training plans to build those skills.
Provide troubleshooting assistance for highly complex manufacturing equipment problems.
Communicates across shifts and departments to maintain clear alignment in daily immediate priorities on the execution of the critical few.
Drive daily management through Gemba boards.
Track and trend team performance targets.
Drive continuous improvement by utilizing data analysis to identify opportunities, develop actions and drive them to sustainable conclusion.
Close work orders with correct information for use in data analysis efforts.
Develop and manage daily schedules for all teams.
Drive continuous improvement through the cells utilizing different lean principles to improve EHS, quality, delivery, and cost
Ensures all company policies and procedures are adhered to.
Responsibilities include: involvement in interviewing, onboarding, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Drive accountability through safety, quality, and standard work audits.
Responsible for 5S program implementation and execution in all shops.
Supports operations during weekend and off shift hours when needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical assemblies, PLC/HMI/automation, servo systems, electrical circuits, dies and/or production metal forming tooling.
Leverage software to track and trend performance metrics such as OEE and its feed metrics.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Associates degree or higher in a technical field with five years of experience in that field in a high-volume manufacturing setting, plus two years of experience as a maintenance or tool & die supervisor
High school degree/GED with ten years of experience with at least five years of experience in Maintenance or Tool & Die supervision
Certification as CMRP, CMRT, MLT, MLA, and/or certification in one or more predictive technologies.

The estimated compensation for this position is $50,000 - $90,000 per year
This position may be eligible for a business unit bonus of 3% annually
