Specializing in injected molded, glass-reinforced polypropylene products, Banjo prides itself on innovative design, skillful engineering, precise manufacturing, and finding the solution that works best for your liquid handling needs. Position will be based in assigned territory

Banjo Liquid Handling Products marketed and sold all over the world:

Valves, Electric Valves, Manifold Systems, Dry-Disconnects, IBC/Tank Accessories, Cam Lever Couplings, Pipe Fittings, Line Strainers, and Pumps.

Summary: To plan and meet growth objectives with the assigned Distribution customers and target accounts.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Manages assigned geographical sales territory to drive growth and profitability (WA, OR, CA, ID, MT, WY, NV, UT, AZ, CO, NM)

  • Develops understanding of the intersection of the customers, the competitive landscape, and Banjo’s product offering and leverages this knowledge to achieve growth targets

  • Works with Segment Leader to develop and meet annual NA sales plan (AOP) and actions for growth

  • Works with Segment Leader to develop long-term strategic plan for Distributor growth

  • Differentiates and drives growth through winning initiatives to displace competition at target accounts with the goal of increased market share and penetration

  • Provides the company with new product and service ideas, market trends, territory market data, sales growth strategies, and competitive intelligence. Participate on New Product Development and marketing teams as required

  • Establishes and sustains repeatable commercial process utilizing necessary tools and training Other Responsibilities: Works closely with other sales management, other IDEX business units, Customer Service, Technical Sales, IT, Operations and Accounting to achieve Company priorities Competencies

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, or Business and a minimum of five years of experience in technical sales

  • Distribution channel management experience Preferred Requirements:

  • Agriculture market experience

Working Conditions:

  • Frequent travel (after COVID-related protocols change) including up to 75% overnight stays. Applicant must reside within assigned territory. Ideal locations include California, Oregon, or Washington.
