The Content Marketing Specialist will develop content strategies, and create content that is engaging and meaningful to our target audience. This position will create materials that helps the reader answer a question or solves a problem in a way that is entertaining to read, watch, or listen to. In doing so they will build on the business’s established thought leadership and be an expert on topics relevant to driving demand generation, customer trust, and loyalty.


  • Designing a content strategy that supports and enables the respective Business Units (BU) strategic business plan with tactical content marketing initiatives, programs, campaigns and industry events.

  • Collaborating with product marketers, sales professionals, and industry experts to produce strong, engaging content across different formats such as educational articles, e-books, videos, advertisements, and webinars that meet the needs of both key internal stakeholders and our external audience.

  • In collaboration with the business unit’s commercial teams, develop sales tools, product launch plans, and marketing collaterals per brand guidelines.

  • Work closely with company's creative firm on creative and branding initiatives to ensure a consistent message across all channels.

  • Writing, editing, repurposing, digital copy.

  • Revising and optimizing dated content using information gathered in SEO research.

  • Analyzing campaign metrics and generating reports and presentations.

  • Ensuring that SEO and SMO strategies are effectively implemented.

  • Develop and manage a monthly editorial calendar for sharing content on blogs, social media, and via email to boost brand awareness and engage with our audience.

  • Develop new and interesting content based on current and changing customer personas.

  • Maximizing followers on social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and others.

  • Monitoring social media for customer comments both positive and negative.

  • Identify appropriate print, web, and social media channels for targeted campaigns and advertising, and manage accordingly.

  • Develop account-based marketing strategies in collaboration with sales initiatives.

  • Keeping up to date with content trends, consumer preferences, and advancements in technology.

  • Manage and enforce BU branding guidelines.

  • Plans and organizes industry online events/ trade shows.

  • Manage ad hoc creative projects.

  • Write internal communications to help broadcast key success stories

  • Write and distribute press releases to media contacts


  • Bachelor's degree in literature, journalism, marketing, communications, or similar.

  • A minimum of three years of experience in content creation, marketing, communications, or similar.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences

  • Hands on experience with SEO, PPC, and web traffic metrics

  • Expertise in social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook)

  • Project management skills and attention to detail

  • A portfolio of published work.

  • Working knowledge and experience with Inbound Marketing concepts and be well rounded with all digital marketing channels and their interdependencies.

  • Background in scientific technical writing a plus

  • Proficiency in MS Office

This position may require lawful access to ITAR/EAR controlled information and employees in this role will need to meet those requirements. Requirements include US Citizenship or US Permanent Resident.
