Continuous Improvement Manager (m/w/d)

In this new created role as the Continuous Improvement Manager (m/f) you support leading the implementations of LEAN initiatives across IDEX’s European business units. You drive improvements in financial results as well as continuous improvement culture across our European business sites and help us exceed our clients` expectations.

YOUR TASKS

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) and trainer of CI tools

  • Delivering strong operational performance together with Business Units

  • Lead efforts to identify opportunities for automation and/or variation reduction

  • Utilize 80/20 methods, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma tools to drive focus on critical items to yield the highest impact to the organization

  • Establish CI Roadmap that deploys actions to achieve strategic goals

  • Hands on participant of the Continuous Improvement/Kaizen processes by leading Rapid Improvement Events (RIE’s). Mentoring site level Continuous Improvement leaders in effective facilitation of events and/or training

  • Built a network of CI colleagues in Europe to share best practices

YOUR PROFILE

  • Technical university degree- Manufacturing Engineering preferred

  • 4+ years of production experience in a similar role

  • Demonstrated track record of improving targets and transformations for the enterprise

  • Strong working knowledge of CI tools (e.g. Mixed Model Lean, PFEP, GDP, RCCM, and KPIs)

  • Ability to motivate and drive others to deliver results

  • Excellent communication/presentation skills (written and verbal)

  • Ability to work successfully in a multi-cultural environment

  • Business fluent language skills in English and German skills, Italian language skills are a plus

  • Willingness to travel internationally
