SUMMARY OF PRIMARY FUNCTION

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Electro-Mechanical Engineer to lead our engineering efforts. With over 15 years of experience in the field, the ideal candidate will have a profound understanding of both electrical and mechanical engineering principles, a track record of solving complex engineering problems, and the leadership qualities necessary to mentor junior engineers. This position offers a significant opportunity for growth, with potential future advancement into management roles within our engineering department.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and test all aspects of electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical components, equipment, and machinery.

  • Apply expert knowledge of electronic systems, mechanics, and material properties to innovate and improve product designs.

  • Lead project teams, ensuring deadlines are met, and projects are completed within budget.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to integrate new technologies and methods.

  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing knowledge and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements, applying this knowledge to drive innovation within the company.

  • Provide technical leadership in critical decision-making processes and problem-solving activities

  • Prepare and present reports and findings to senior management, making recommendations for future projects or improvements.

  • Play a pivotal role in the strategic planning of engineering projects, with the potential to progress into management roles overseeing departmental objectives and operations
